Guess what’s under the cover.

Is it a boat?

60s American 2-door? I’m going with Oldsmobile but I don’t know what I am talking about.

A pile of dicks shaped roughly like a late ‘60s/early ‘70s muscle car.

Not a boat.

442?

Riviera?

Hmm, in that case, I’m thinking Olds 442. The 70-72 body style.

Not a Mopar.

Yes.

This is the most correct so far. It’s a 1971 442. But what color?
![]() 10/11/2016 at 23:36 |

Technically the 442 in this particular year was its own model. If you cheated by looking at my prior posts and thought it was this one, you would be wrong. Bajillion points if you can actually guess the color of what’s under the cover.

Nope. Others have guessed mostly correct.

It’s not the baby blue W-2 that’s around here?
![]() 10/12/2016 at 11:50 |

well, its not that i cheated............. i have a good memory............... but yes, i did think it was the same one.................. gm had a thing for naming those soft browns, and yellows, butterscotch/ camel/sandal wood........
under the cover............ its red............

Unfortunately not a W machine.

The one you’re thinking of is Covert Beige. The one under the cover is named after a type of chocolate or emotion.

And fortunately not baby blue.
